Hello! As usual, I am spending the summer at an artist residency in the south of France. I’ll resume custom work in September; feel free to place orders now to save a spot in the queue. Please note that I will not be checking my email frequently while working abroad. Merci!

What could possibly be more fabulous than a custom lampshade, hand-painted just for you?? (That’s a rhetorical question… although maybe a pair of custom lampshades??)

Custom lampshades are painted in the style shown in the photos: line drawings in paint, with motifs all the way around the shade. Choosing a theme—particularly a location, as in the photos—works well, although there are many options!!

Three sizes are available:
- chandelier shade (3” top x 4” bottom x 4” slant)
- lampshade for a small lamp (8” top x 10” bottom x 7” slant)
- lampshade for a large lamp (13” top x 15” bottom x 10” slant)

The cost of the shade itself is included in the overall price noted below. Lead time is around 8 weeks unless otherwise noted.

Alternative sizes are available, too, with a longer lead time of approx 12 weeks to account for sourcing the shade. Because the work and cost of the shade itself vary based on the size, I request a $100 deposit for these alternative sizes and will discuss the additional cost after we discuss the details via email.

Color options are pure white or off white. Painting is done in one color, typically black with other options available for an additional $50.

Lamp base is not included.

Local delivery in NYC is available; for deliveries outside of NYC, a shipping quote will be given.

After placing your order, I will email you to chat about all the details, then draw up a plan for approval and walk you through it, and, upon approval, I’ll paint the shade and send it out to you. Woohoo!!
