Every springtime, New York City erupts in glorious blooms. After a particularly brutal winter, I was especially glad to see them coming up through the earth this year and got my paints out to capture them as soon as I could. I set myself up in front of the flowers, usually by the Hudson River, and paint them right in front of me; a moving studio!

This is an original watercolor on paper with straight edges. The painting is a triptych, meaning it is three pieces of paper put together to act as one and comes unframed, size 14”x33”.

Thank you!!
