Welcome to Provence! I spent a wonderfully blissful month in the south of France in the summer of 2023, painting all day, every day; these are the fruits of my labor.

Niolon is a darling beach town on the Mediterranean, about 30 minutes from Marseille. I set up in the rocks to paint the perfectly blue water and swimmers in it, then jumped in for a swim, made another painting, and back and forth until it was time to catch the train back to Aix. Could there be anything better??
