On warmer days this early springtime in New York City, I ventured out to paint townhouses and restaurants and the general hustle-bustle of the city. All of these paintings were made en plein air, meaning I painted them from life, sitting outside and looking at the scene as I worked. This townhouse is where Carrie Bradshaw lived in Sex in the City and consequently is quite a popular tourist destination! This is one of two paintings from this spot; the other is here.
