In the summer of 2023, Niolon is a darling beach town on the Mediterranean, about 30 minutes from Marseille. I set up in the rocks to paint the perfectly blue water and swimmers in it, then jumped in for a swim, made another painting, and back and forth until it was time to catch the train back to Aix. Could there be anything better??
