SUMMER IN LE SUD: La Presqu'île, Cassis, July 25

$1,650.00

After so many painting sessions spent looking either to the left or right of this view, I finally decided (at the urging of a painter friend) to paint the full scene. Painted in one session with three canvases put together at once, this was quite a challenge and one of my favorite paintings of the summer.

This painting is part of Summer in le Sud (“luh sood”, a French word meaning “the south of France”), a series of paintings and watercolors made en plein air (outside, from life) as an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School.

Original oil painting on canvas. Painting size 14”x33”; overall size framed is approx 17”x21”. This is a triptych, painted on three 11”x14” canvases and framed as one piece as they’re meant to stay together as one. This painting comes framed in a natural oak floating frame and is ready to hang.

Free local delivery for addresses around NYC and near Charlottesville, Richmond, and Williamsburg, VA; this is automatically done at checkout. Otherwise, a $100 shipping and handling fee will be applied at checkout.

Merci for choosing to have a piece of my summertime on your walls!
