SUMMER IN LE SUD: L'aqueduc de Roquefavour, Aix-en-Provence, July 11

$850.00

This was the second time I painted this aqueduct, which is about 30 minutes outside of Aix-en-Provence. It’s in a gorgeous setting with easy parking and shady spots to set up to paint and a pretty stream running beneath the structure, not too busy; the ideal place to make a painting, in other words.

This painting is part of Summer in le Sud (“luh sood”, a French word meaning “the south of France”), a series of paintings and watercolors made en plein air (outside, from life) as an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School.

Original oil painting on canvas. Painting size 12”x16”; overall size framed is approx 13”x17”. This painting comes framed in a natural oak floating frame and is ready to hang.

Free local delivery for addresses around NYC and near Charlottesville, Richmond, and Williamsburg, VA; this is automatically done at checkout. Otherwise, a $20 shipping and handling fee will be applied at checkout.

Merci for choosing to have a piece of my summertime on your walls!
