SUMMER IN LE SUD: Sunflowers on the way to Rognes, July 27, no. 2
After making an oil painting in this pretty sunflower field, I painted this little watercolor, a helpful tool when I’m working through a painting. The two would make a lovely pair, if you ask me!
This painting is part of Summer in le Sud (“luh sood”, a French word meaning “the south of France”), a series of paintings and watercolors made en plein air (outside, from life) as an artist-in-residence with the Leo Marchutz School.
Original watercolor on paper with straight edges; unframed size 7”x11”.
If you’d like to have this framed, please select that option from the drop-down menu and check out. I’ll then email you with mock-ups of the painting in a few frame options that I recommend. Framed size approx 12×16 inches; please allow an additional three weeks for framing.
USPS First-Class shipping is free for the continental USA.
Merci for choosing to have a piece of my summertime on your walls!
