Bonjour from Provence! This painting was made during an artist residency in the south of France this summer (2026) with the Leo Marchutz School of Painting and Drawing, my fourth summer painting in the landscape and by the Mediterranean. I painted this from life, "en plein air," as the French say; no photo references, simply looking at the subject while painting it. A challenging, exhilarating experience! 

This is an original watercolor on paper, framed. The size overall is 15" x 19", and it’s framed in a light green lacquer frame complimenting the colors in the painting.
